With over 12 years of experience in the Wilmington area, Dr. Benjamin F. Gilbert III brings a strong background in implant and cosmetic dentistry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in implant biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he was actively involved in student leadership and athletics.

After dental school, Dr. Gilbert began his career in New York City, focusing on implant and cosmetic dentistry. He completed a 300-hour maxi course in implantology through Brookdale University Hospital and NYU College of Dentistry under the guidance of Dr. Norman Cranin. Dedicated to ongoing education, he completes 20 to 100 hours of continuing education every two years.
